VIH/sida, Dévoilement du Statut Sérologique et Résilience au Taitement Antirétroviral chez Adolescents d’Adzopé

La présente étude a pour objectif d’explorer l’influence du dévoilement de l’infection à VIH chez les adolescents d’Adzopé sur la résilience au traitement antirétroviral. Face au secret autour de la maladie, le dévoilement du statut sérologique va constituer une bouée de sauvetage pour les adolescents. L’étude est essentiellement qualitative avec des outils d’enquête appropriés notamment, la recension bibliographique, des entretiens autobiographiques et semi-directifs menés auprès de de quarante (40) personnes répartis comme suit : vingt (20) adolescents vivant avec le VIH/sida, huit (8) acteurs médicaux, cinq (5) parents, cinq (5) tuteurs, un dépositaire de la tradition et une autorité administrative. Elle s’est déroulée au Centre Hospitalier Régional d’Adzopé. Cela a conduit aux résultats selon lesquels les parents mobilisent des stratégies pour la dissimulation de l’annonce du diagnostic aux adolescents. Ces stratégies se déclinent autour des injonctions parentales, de l’’assimilation du VIH/sida à une infection secondaire et de l’utilisation du vocabulaire médical comme légitimation du secret par les parents. Outre ce fait, les résonnances émotionnelles vont succéder divulgation de la maladie en termes d’enjeux émotifs (colère, tristesse, choc). Pour surmonter ces écueils, les parents, les tuteurs et les professionnels de santé vont constituer une bouée pour les adolescents grâce au dévoilement du statut sérologique. Cela va légitimer une résilience au traitement antirétroviral.
The present study aims to study the upheavals inherent to HIV/AIDS in the biography of patients. Faced with this, these actors mobilize the recomposition of identity as an element allowing them to redefine their social relations and to glimpse the future under better auspices. The study is essentially qualitative with appropriate survey tools, in particular the bibliographical review, autobiographical and semi-structured interviews conducted with forty-two (42) people, distributed as follows: twenty-five (25) people living with HIV/AIDS, nine (9) medical actors, four (4) guardians of tradition, three (3) presidents of NGOs and an administrative authority, namely the Director of the health structure. It took place at the General Hospital of Adzopé. This led to the findings that opportunistic diseases exert an influence on the social life of patients through depletion of economic capital, stigmatization.
